    In this tutorial, we are going to uncover some of the possible reasons that might cause a word not to be saved in the library, and after that, we will suggest some possible fix methods that you can try to get rid of this problem. This error occurs when the registry entry is likely missing or contains incorrect instructions, or the user may not have permission to read the registry. This article describes how to resolve the issue when the registry information is correct, but this user does not have permission to read it correctly.

    Context

    I’m using Word from Excel, whichto open paper forms and update links in them.

    library not registered word

    Finally, Word opened and documents in general opened, but I got the corresponding error message with the line:

    For each field in oDoc.Fields

    After trying to uncheck the box, just check the “Microsoft Word” link again,
    I also got the above error:
    Set oW equals VBA.GetObject (, "Word .Application") and
    Set implies oW VBA.CreateObject("Word.Application")

    And yet declaring all variables like oW Word as.Application never seems to be a problem…

    Dim OW As Word.Application, _ ODoc as Word.Document, _ AField as a word._ Field, such as As Word.InlineShape, _ ASh as Word.Shape, _ fCt as an integer, _ isCt as an integer, _ one as an integer, _ NewFile as string, _ Global type as a stringIf error, then continueSet oW = VBA.GetObject(, "Word.Application") '<-- Error after tryingOn transition error 0If oW means nothing, then OW set = VBA.CreateObject("Word.Application") '<-- error after next tryNewFile = Dir(FolderToScan "*&."FileExtensionWOpoint)Do and while NewFile <> vbNullString Set oDoc to oW.Documents.Open(FolderToScan & NewFile) FCt = oDoc.Fields.Count isCt ODoc=.InlineShapes.Count For AField every InoDoc. Sectors '<-- 1. Error

    Err.HelpContext is 1000440
    Err.Description = Automation as an unregistered error library.

    Err.HelpFile = C:PROGRA~2COMMON~1MICROS~1VBAVBA7.11036VbLR6.chm
    Err.LastDllError = 0

    Tests To Solve The Problem

    1. In a VB project, you will find references to "Microsoft Word" in most of the files.
      (for me c:program (x86)Common Filesmicrosoft filesgeneralOFFICE15MSWORD.OLB)
    2. Remove link to "Microsoft Word"
    3. Close and save the project
    4. Browse to the entire file folder and run regsvr32 MSWORD.OLB in the current console
    5. Open the project again, add references to "Microsoft Word" again.

    But in their middle period (between 1st and 4th) the link to the MSWORD.OLB file disappeared!!!! o_o

    I've rebooted and checked and my new hidden files are visible, so I just don't know what you want to do!!!
    Is there another way to restore the most important library? Or forced?

    How do I fix error HR 0x8002801d Library not registered?

    Close Outlook.Completely uninstall Cryptshare for Office 365 and Outlook.Check any interface.Check and fix TypeLib by accessing this top secret registry: HKEY_CLASSES_ROOTTypeLib0062FFF-0000-0000-C000-000000000046.

    I restarted again and this time changed the link path to C:Program Files (x86)Microsoft OfficeOffice15MSWORD.OLB so this link works but I get the same error . right onthe same lines.

    How do I fix Library not registered?

    Close Microsoft Outlook.While holding down the Windows key, press "R".Type "regedit" then click OK.Go to the following location:Expand 0006F062-0000-0000-C000-000000000046 with the plus sign, so right-click the "1.0" folder and then specifically click "Delete".

    Obviously regsvr32 works best with DLL and OCX so I couldn't add the link manually.

  • Test or even: start with cmd and put it in PATH environment variable

    library not registered word

    According to @S Meaden's advice, I tried to open Word from the command line:

    In a random target:
    winword.exe /automation, winword.exe, winword /automation winword, and also, for example, 'winword.exe'. usually not recognized
    But start winword and start winword /automation do the job just fine. Try

    I have "C:Program Files (x86)Microsoft OfficeOffice15winword.exe" for /r to force the registry on, except it didn't change anything.. .< /p>

    In this case, I added the path C:Program Files (x86)Microsoft OfficeOffice15 to the PATH:
    environment variableAfter that the commands work but I still get the same error in VBA...

    I only need one version of MS Office on my computer and it hasn't been updated or anything.

    I'm still checking the Windows registry, but there's no indication of another real version!

    I just found their policy value, which was only referencedIt's for version 14 (I have 15, Office 2013), so I saved it and deleted it. But no hesitation, so I'll add it again!

    I tried to force save Excel and Word:

    "C:Program Files (x86)Microsoft OfficeOffice15winword.exe" /r"C:Program Files (x86)Microsoft OfficeOffice15winword.exe" /regserver"C:Program Files (x86)Microsoft OfficeOffice15excel.exe" /r"C:Program Files (x86)Microsoft OfficeOffice15excel.exe" /regserver

    Question

    How can I register Word for free?

    Step 1: Open as an Office program. Programs like Word and Excel come preinstalled on a great laptop with a year of Office battery life.Step 2: Choose a website. The activation screen will appear.Step 3: Sign in to Microsoft 365.Step 4: Accept the terms.Step 5: Start.

    The link again points to a real file,
    Word is still fully functional,
    but my code that worked yesterday doesn't work:

    Set the value oW = VBA.GetObject(, "Word.Application").Set oW = VBA.CreateObject("Word.Application")

    Error number: -2147319779
    Err.HelpContext=1000440
    Err.Description=Automation - Library registration failed.
    Err.Source implies VBAProject
    Err.HelpFile = C:PROGRA~2COMMON~1MICROS~1VBAVBA7.11036VbLR6.chm
    Err.LastDllError = 0

    Simple Workaround (no Fixes)

    The only thing that seems to work for me is setting late binding, so if I'm wondering why, I'm just glad it works again!

    Dim oW as object, _ oDoc as object, _ Field as object, _ a Looks like an object, _ asan object, _ integer fCt, for example _ isCt is an integer in the form _ while I'm whole like _ NewFile as string, _ Global type as a string'' Together :'Dim oW As Word.Application, _ ODoc as Word.Document, _ AField as a word._ Field, such as As Word.InlineShape, _ ASh as Word.Shape, _ fCt as an integer, _ isCt as an integer, _ I as an integer, _ NewFile as string, _ Global type as a string
